At CES 2026, Samsung Electronics America introduced the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6, their latest lineup of advanced laptops.

The Galaxy Book 6 series pairs advanced hardware with sharp visuals and audio in a sling. portable design with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors which are part of the first client system on chips (SOCs) base using Intel’s 18A process Galaxy Book Search delivers fast, efficient CPU (central processing unit), GPU (graphics processing unit), and NPU (neural processing unit) performance for quick processing, smooth multitasking, and responsive AI.  

  • The new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, built on Intel 18A at a 1.8 nm-plus node (where nm stands for nanometer, a unit measuring the size of transistor features), offer up to 16 high-performance Efficient cores. This provides over 60% faster CPU performance than the prior generation. The built-in NPU (neural processing unit), with up to 50 TOPS (trillion operations per second), enables fast AI tasks such as image cleanup, translation, and smart search without the cloud.  
  • The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 LT laptop GPU, a graphics processor designed for laptops that supports AI image generation, smooth video playback and editing, and immersive gaming.  

Great hardware needs great cooling. Samsung’s new cooling system keeps laptops running smoothly and quietly. The improved vapor chamber and airflow efficiently remove heat. So the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Pro stay cool and quiet.  

  • For the first time, the Pro Series features a vapor chamber in the Galaxy Book 6 Pro. The Ultra’s vapor chamber has a larger surface area, evenly distributing heat to keep the device cool and responsive during heavy use.  
  • Both the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Pro now feature larger fins attached to the vapor chamber to move heat away. With more surface area, heat is released more effectively, improving cooling efficiency by 35% over the previous generation.  
  • The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra uses a dual-path outlet fan and heat sink to dissipate heat from key components, preventing overheating and steady performance.  
  • The redesigned fan is angered too quickly and efficiently releases heat. A larger inlet grill increases airflow in Samsung’s unique blade and helps reduce fan noise.  

Samsung designed the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra for strong performance and long battery life so you can work all day. Better power management extends real-world use, keeping you productive and connected anywhere.  

  • Samsung’s Ultra and Pro Series now feature their longest-lasting Galaxy Book battery yet. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra offers up to 30 hours of video playback. This is about five hours more than the previous generation.  
  • With fast charging, the Galaxy Boot 6 Alpha regains up to 63% battery in 30 minutes. Plug in during a short break  for hours of meetings, classes, or creative work.

As the first silicon partner with Microsoft Intune, customers need no extra infrastructure and can quickly deploy management through the Intune admin center, reducing setup time and complexity. More than 1,300 commercial customers began using this service last quarter, streamlining their IT operations and reducing downtime.  
  • Intel vPro security enhancements now include Intel Total Storage Encryption for Microsoft BitLocker and AI-based threat detection powered by Intel Threat Detection Technology (DTECT). For customers, this means stronger protection of sensitive information and the ability to block advanced malware attacks in real time, helping them safeguard their business from emerging threats.  

Intel Arc Pro Graphics empowers creators and AI developers with advanced performance.

Availability 

Commercial PCs with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and Intel vPro will be available starting March 31, 2026.  

Intel will offer the Arc Pro 70 discrete GPU starting March 25, 2026, both as an Intel-branded card and through AIB partner cards from ARKN, ASRock, Gunir, Max Sun, and Sparkle. The Intel-branded Arc Pro B70 will start at $949. AIB partner module prices will vary depending on the final configuration.  

Starting in mid-April 2026, Intel’s AIB Partner Network will offer Intel Arc Pro B65 discrete GPUs in a variety of form factors. The final model configuration will determine pricing for the Arc Pro B65.  

Intel will also offer Intel Xeon 600 processors for plant workstations starting March 25, 2026. Suggested component prices range from $499 to $7,699. Final component configuration will determine system pricing.

  • At CES 2025, Intel unveiled the Core Ultra 200 V series and 200HX/h/u (series 2) mobile processors. These are tailored for the next generation of slim, lightweight laptops. These chips promise impressive battery life up to 27 hours on the go.  
  • Panther Lake (Core Ultra Series 3), previewed for 2025 and 2026, will be the first client chips built on Intel’s advanced 18A process. They are expected to deliver CPU and graphics performance that is over 50% faster.  
  • Intel is expanding its AI solutions into industrial sectors, with new Core Ultra processors targeted for robotics and manufacturing applications.

  • With the 200S series desktop processors, users gain up to 6% faster single-core performance, a 14% surge in multi-threaded speed, and up to 2.3× better gaming performance with AI upscaling, all compared to prior Intel desktop processor models.  
  • The 200 V series processors unleash up to 120 platform TOPS (trillion operations per second), powering advanced AI-driven features in your favorite software.  
  • AI improves video calls by blurring backgrounds and reducing noise while accelerating content creation, such as photo and video editing, by up to 63% compared to previous software versions running without AI acceleration.  

Software Ecosystem and Developer Support  

  • Intel joins forces with over 100 independent software vendors and champions, and champions more than 300 AI‑accelerated features that rev up apps like Audacity, DaVinci Resolve, and Zoom to unleash the full potential of its hardware.  
  • The AI PC Developer Program opens the door to tools and kits that empower developers to bring new AI technologies to life, with broad support for OpenVINO and Windows ML.  

Given these updates, Intel aims to put over 100 million AI-enabled PCs in users’ hands by the end of 2025, making advanced AI benefits widely accessible.  

Intel Corporation has launched two new artificial intelligence initiatives under its AI PC Acceleration Program: the AI PC developer program and the inclusion of independent hardware vendors. These steps help the software and hardware ecosystem maximize AI on over 100 million Intel-based AI PCs by 2025.  

We have made significant progress with our AI PC Acceleration Program through collaboration with our partners. Now, with the AIPC developer program, we are contacting not just large ISVs but also small and medium businesses and new developers. Our aim is to make things easier by providing a wider range of tools, including the new AI Ready Developer Kit. Carla Rodriguez, Intel Vice President and General Manager of Client Software Ecosystem, said: “We are enabling developers with the resources they need to build AI-accelerated experiences.”   

The AI PC Developer Program is made for software developers and independent software vendors. It aims to make it easy for them to use new AI technologies. The program provides tools, workflows, AI development and deployment frameworks, and developer kits built on the latest Intel hardware, including the Intel Core Ultra processor.  

The updated developer resource pages provide developers with a single place to find AI, PC, and client-oriented toolkits, documentation, and training. These resources aim to help developers get the most out of Intel Core Ultra processors for AI and machine learning applications. They also aim to accelerate the adoption of new use cases.  

Developers are invited to join Intel’s AI PC Acceleration Program and connect with Intel’s global partner network dedicated to improving AI performance in PCs.  

By adding independent hardware vendors to the AI PC Acceleration Program, IHVs can now prepare and tune their hardware for independent Intel AI PCs. Qualified partners get early access to Intel’s open labs for technical and co‑engineering support. Intel also offers reference hardware. Partners can test and fine‑tune their technology to ensure efficiency at launch.  

Intel has already onboarded 150 hardware vendors worldwide to its AI PC accelerator program, said Matt King, Senior Director of Client Hardware Ecosystem at Intel. We are excited to scale our innovative hardware and software solutions to bring this drive to our broad open ecosystem of developers.  

IHVs and developers can register to participate in the AI Acceleration Program for IHVs. Intel is partnering with hardware companies to advance the AI P experience and invites participation to support innovation. 

AI is expected to transform multiple aspects of daily life, from work and learning to connecting and creating. With optimized software and hardware powered by Intel’s platform, including CPUs, NPUs, and GPUs, users can benefit from AI on AI Ps.
