Samsung Electronics, a worldwide Olympic and Paralympic partner, today announced the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition, designed exclusively for athletes competing at the Paralympic and Olympic Winter Games Milano-Cortina 2026. The device features enhanced camera capabilities and Olympic-themed designs to help athletes capture and share key moments. Nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from about 90 countries will receive the device, which will support their experience in the Olympic Village and help them document their Games journey.  

The Samsung Olympic phone will feature official podium moments through the Victory Selfie & Immersive Camera tools at the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, including Team Sports for the first time, so all athletes can document their victories. Select athletes will also share moments through the Victory profile photo series captured with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

• Now Brief gives daily personalized updates, reminders, and fitness summaries from select apps.  

• Photo Assist enhances images by editing object angles and backgrounds using AI.  

• One device interpreter provides real-time translation without a network for offline use.  

The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition also features a distinctive design that honors athletes’ participation in the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, along with practical services to improve their experience in the Olympic Village during competition.  

Blue Back Glass references Milano Cortina 2026, blending Samsung’s style with Italian azure to symbolize unity. Gold metal frames reflect excellence: the included case has a blue magnet with gold laurel leaves for victory.  

Each device features exclusive Olympic Winter Games-themed wallpapers, designed for Milano Cortina 2026. The colorful curves represent winter sports inspired by the marks left by skate blades on ice. These parts celebrate the Olympic spirit and athletes’ passion.  

Athletes can capture both their perspective and reactions in a single shot using dual recording, which utilizes the rear and front cameras simultaneously. Exclusive to the Olympic Edition, Dual Recording mode is accessible by swiping the Shooting Mode in the camera app. Can also use split view to zoom in on the rear camera view for creative angles and preview shots in real-time on FlexWindow.  

The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition includes a curated suite of essential apps and services to support athletes during Milano Cortina 2026:  

Galaxy Athlete Card enables athletes to exchange profiles, collect cards, and participate in interactive activities, cultivating community across disciplines and delegations.  

• In addition to fostering community, athletes will receive complimentary 100 GB 5G eSIM connectivity, allowing them to stay connected easily. They will also have access to digital passes and services in Samsung Wallet, developed in collaboration with global and local partners, to simplify daily tasks during Milano Cortina 2026. Benefits include the Coca-Cola free beverage key, which provides free drinks at vending machines throughout the villages.  

• Athlete 365 provides performance and psychological health support along with key competition information. Integrated with Galaxy AI’s now-brief feature, it keeps athletes up to date on the latest Olympic Games news.  

• Moreover, other applications, such as the official Olympic Games app for event updates, the IOC hotline for rapid support, and PinQuest for interactive activities, enhance daily convenience in the Olympic village and support athletes’ performance both on and off the field.  

• Similarly, the pre-installed fitness application enables athletes to monitor workouts, receive real-time, personalized feedback, and track progress using exercise equipment in the Olympic and Paralympic villages.  

First introduced at Paris 2024, the Victory Selfie powered by the Olympic Edition enabled athletes to capture their podium moments and share them from their own perspective, creating a more engaging experience.  

At Milano Cortina 2026, the victory selfie will debut at the Winter Olympics with a new expanded format. For the first time, it will include team celebrations, showing the team-oriented nature of winter sports. Athletes can now capture achievements with teammates and instantly distribute these moments with loved ones and audiences worldwide.  

Athletes’ journeys go beyond computation, including preparation, anticipation, and the emotions of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. To celebrate this broader experience, Samsung introduces the Victory Profile, a new storytelling initiative developed in collaboration with 9 NOCs. The Victory Profile uses curated portraits captured on the Galaxy S25 Ultra to showcase each athlete’s passion and individuality.
