The OnePlus Ace 6T will launch with a next-level cooling setup and high-speed charging, making it one of the brand’s most performance-focused phones yet. This targets users who demand sustained, high-intensity smartphone performance.
The company has been teasing various specifications of smartphones. A company executive has revealed more details about the handset’s performance, charging, and display. These details became viral after the OnePlus Ace 6T was listed on the tech firm’s website. It also revealed its colour options and design.
OnePlus Ace 6T: Expected Specifications
The OnePlus China President, Li Jie Louis, shared some key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T in a post on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging platform.
Battery & Cooling System
The device will feature an 8,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support. It will be equipped with the new “Glacier Cooling System” (translated from Chinese), with a “large” heat dissipation area to maintain thermals.
The OnePlus executive also revealed that it will ship with a “standard bypass power supply” while sporting the same gyroscope as the flagship OnePlus 15.
The OnePlus executive said: “Some friends say that battery life shouldn’t be judged solely by battery capacity; real-world experience is more important. If the massive 8300mAh Glacier Battery is the highest mountain among performance flagships, then the OnePlus Ace 6T’s battery life is the longest river, not only ample power, but also long-lasting, stable, and durable.”
“Our internal tests revealed: some users played games continuously for 7 hours, and the Ace 6T still had power left; others took it on international trips, watching videos throughout the flight, and still had power upon landing; many more used it heavily from morning till night, and still had considerable power left before bedtime,” the executive revealed.
OnePlus has invested both time and money in improving battery life. The Glacier Battery is a high-performance battery designed for high-performance phones. It is combined with the flagship energy efficiency of the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8’s latest 3nm process and the newly upgraded ColorOS 16. The model leads in specifications and also achieves “full performance and god-like battery life” in real-world use.
Processor
The smartphone is claimed to be the world’s first to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The company claims 3.56 million in the AnTuTu 11 benchmark.
Display
The display of the OnePlus Ace 6T will deliver up to 165Hz refresh rate.
Performance
OnePlus Ace 6T is claimed to feature a new “Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel” to enable 165fps gaming, which is coupled with an “e-sports triple-core” processor. It will get a 144fps mode for the game Honor of Kings.
The OnePlus Ace 6T features IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
There is also a Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayaka Edition of the Ace 6T. As for what the “T” represents in Ace 6T, Louis says it “signifies OnePlus’s inherent performance DNA, unchanged from every previous ‘T’ generation.”
Outlook
The handset will be equipped with a large flat touchscreen, which features “ultra-narrow” bezels. It will boast a square camera module, housing two camera lenses.
The Ace 6T will feature a Plus key on the left side, which can be mapped to perform a specific action. It will ship with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for better security. OnePlus Ace 6T will offer 50:50 weight distribution, while sporting a “micro-arc” metal frame.
Colour Options
Previously, it was revealed that the OnePlus Ace 6T will be offered in black, green, and violet colour options.
Final Thoughts
The pricing of this model has not been revealed yet. Experts believe that the OnePlus Ace 6T would be priced below the OnePlus 15 variants. The OnePlus R series usually falls below Rs 50,000 in India. However, with the upgrades, the price may also increase.
