Apple has introduced Apple Business (an all-in-one platform) designed to help companies manage devices, reach more customers, and provide employees with essential apps and tools, and access expert support for efficient, secure growth. The platform includes built-in mobile device management, making it easy for businesses to set up employee groups, device settings, security, and apps using blueprints. Customers can also set up business email, calendar, and directory services using their own domain name for smooth communication and collaboration. Apple Business helps companies connect with local customers through Apple Maps, Mail, Wallet, Siri, and more. This summer, businesses in the US and Canada will be able to place local ads in Maps during important search moments. Apple Business will be available starting Tuesday, April 14, in over 200 countries and regions.

Apple’s business starts a significant step in our mission to help companies of all sizes use Apple products and services to succeed, said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of enterprise and education marketing. We’ve united Apple’s top business features into a single, simple, secure platform that offers built-in device management, collaboration tools, and new ways to reach customers. We’re eager to see Apple’s business help companies focus on what matters and strengthen connections with their communities.

Built-In Mobile Device Management

Apple Business includes built-in mobile device management, giving organizations a complete view of their Apple devices and settings from one place. This feature (once available only through Apple Business Essentials in the US) is now designed to make IT simple, even for small businesses without a dedicated IT staff, with new blueprints. Companies can quickly set up devices with pre-configured settings and apps, ensuring consistency and security. Employees can start using new Apple products right out of the box with zero-touch deployment.

Apple Business enables companies to purchase additional iCloud storage to meet data needs and receive expert hardware and software support through AppleCare Plus for Business. The Apple Business App streamlines employee workflows by letting staff quickly install work apps, access co-worker contact information, and request technical assistance as needed, enabling faster problem resolution and boosting productivity.

Apple Business is now expanding Apple Business Manager to over 200 countries and regions, and it supports more device management features, including:

  • Managed Apple accounts keep your company’s data protected and give your employees peace of mind by keeping work and personal info separate. Apple’s business streamlines onboarding by automatically creating secure accounts for new hires. Just connect with Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID.
  • With employee management, you can create groups by function or team and easily assign the right apps and roles. Craft custom roles that fit your organization’s unique way of working.
  • Sharing apps is a breeze. Grab what you need from the App Store and put tools directly in your team’s hands.
  • The API admin supercharges large deployments, letting you easily dive into device user audit and MDM service data.

New Tools for Managing Productivity and Joint Effort

Apple Business is here to power your new business with integrated email, calendar, and directory services, giving you a professional edge right away. Use your own custom domain or snag one through Apple Business, making founder communications and collaboration a snap. Streamline daily operations with calendar delegation and a built-in company directory so employees can quickly connect with groups and find personalized contact cards.

Enhanced Discoverability In Apple Maps

Every day, Apple Maps connects people to their next favorite place. Title case line

This summer, you can make your business stand out, create eye-catching ads in maps with Apple Business, and reach new customers when it matters most. Ads pop up at the top search results or in suggested places, highlighting what’s trending and what users want to see now. Transparency is key: every ad is clearly labeled.

Ads on Maps align with Apple’s privacy approach, so you enjoy the same trusted protections already built into Maps. Rest assured, your location and the ads you see are never linked to your Apple account. Your personal data remains on the device, is not collected or stored by Apple, and is never shared. When Apple Business launches in April, your business can quickly claim its location on Maps with ads on Maps. Creating a campaign through Apple Business is just a few easy steps away. If you already use Apple ads, keep going with your current setup and explore new configuration options.

Manage Brand and Location Features All in One Place

Brand management tools, once part of Apple Business Connect are now right in Apple Business, giving you control over how your brand and locations shine everywhere Apple reaches.

  • Your brand profile is your signature. Easily manage your name, logo, and key details across maps, wallet, and more, keeping your presence polished and consistent wherever customers find you.
  • Rich place cards can be customized with photos, detailed location info, hours, and other helpful details that appear in Apple Maps, Safari, and Spotlight.
  • Showcases and custom actions: Lego highlights details, deals, special offers, new products, or seasonal items on your place cards in maps. You can also add actions like ‘order’ or ‘reserve’ to send customers to your website or app.
  • Location insights help you see how customers find and interact with your business on maps, including searches, views, and taps on actions.
  • Make your mark with branded communications in the Mail app and iCloud Mail, boosting your recognition at every touch point. Your branding stands out with tracked orders in the wallet, making every customer experience feel personal and memorable.
  • With tap to pay on iPhone, build trust every time – dash your brand logo and name. Great customers right on the payment screen when you accept payments.
