Apple has introduced AirPods Max 2, featuring improved noise cancellation, enhanced sound, and new smart features, in the familiar over-ear style, powered by the H2 chip. Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Voice Isolation, and Live Translation are now included, supporting creators with studio-quality recording and camera-remote tools.
You can order AirPods Max 2 starting March 25 at midnight, in Midnight, Starlight, Orange, Purple, and Blue. Orders open on March 25, and devices will begin shipping early next month.

The H2 chip and new algorithms boost noise cancellation by up to 1.5×, reducing background noise so you can focus on music, work, or calls.
A new digital signal processing algorithm designed for the H2 chip, and the AirPods Max microphones makes transparency mode sound more natural. This helps you stay aware of your surroundings and the people around you.

The AirPods Max 2 feature a new high-dynamic-range amplifier that delivers cleaner audio while preserving the signature sound. AirPods Max spatial audio is improved too, with more distinct instrument placement, more accurate bass, and more natural mids and highs. Using the USB-C cable, AirPods Max support 24-bit/48 kHz lossless audio, letting creators work with high-quality sound and personalized spatial audio with head tracking.

AirPods Max 2 And The Environment
Apple 2030 is the company’s plan to become carbon neutral across all operations by the end of the decade, cutting emissions from materials, electricity, and transportation. AirPods Max 2 use 100% recycled rare earth elements in all magnets, recycled polyester in the ear cushions, and recycled gold plating and tin solder on all Apple-designed circuit boards. The paper packaging is made entirely from fiber and is easy to recycle.
